I have recently joined the 21st century with my first iphone, but I haven't used the phone's camera yet. I have well over 20,000 photos in Lightroom on my PC, and would like to put the iphone pictures into Lightroom on my PC as well. How do I import photos from my iphone to my PC and import them into Lightroom?

I just go to my iCloud on my PC and download them. There may be a better way, but this works.

I use iCloud and sometimes the SanDisk I expand (USB with a lightning cable) which fits the iPhone. Amazon has them in various capacities. You have to down load the App from the App Store (free). The app will recognize the I expand when plugged in. Very easy.

I just plug in the iPhone, go to LR and look for the iPhone listed as a disk on the left side, click on it, and load images just as I would from any disk or card.

I have spent many frustrating hours trying to transfer all of my pictures and videos. Yes, Lightroom will see the iPhone, but all of the pictures don't transfer. Why, I don't know. Windows will see the iPhone, but, again, all the pictures won't transfer. The only program I've found that will transfer all of them is Scan Transfer. The free version will only do 10 photos at a time. I upgraded for the $20 pro version and, finally, all my pictures came through. https://scantransfer.net/

Lightroom Mobile is free and includes a great camera for your phone. You can capture in raw and then sync those phone captures with Lightroom Classic allowing editing on LR Classic on your desktop. Google for further details.

The same cable that charges your battery will down load the files to your compute. Simply go to youtube or google and search dowlosd pictures. I did a friends last year and it was simple. The process is specific to version and model so use it in the search.

šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘ Your iPhone will ask if you want LR to access your photos. Click "Allow".

You can use an iPhone app like PhotoSync or ShareIt and transfer files both ways wirelessly without cables. Phone and PC have to have to be connected to your wifi.

Hi... welcome,
you can also put the Lightroom CC app on your phone and open the pictures you want to put into Lr in there and they will automatically sync with the Lr on your desktop... if you have the subscription... they will be in your collections the next time you open your desktop.

I had a couple of iPhones years ago and grew tired of searching for a workaround that would allow me to control my phone. I solved the problem by switching to Android, and since I went with a Samsung Galaxy, I have a better camera as well. With apple, I felt like I did not really own my phone since they were in charge.
