I find these uplifting. The bright colors and distortion enhance the fun feeling of the series. #3 is a beautiful cityscape!

Thanks! Manual mode. F16 (this makes the lights have a starburst), 10 second exposure, ISO100. Used a remote shutter release.

When I was a student at the Pier in 1964, I got a lot of shots there. The ones posted here show how much about the Pier and photography has change in more than a half a century.
