Like it Bob. The footprints tell us it’s a well used stairway - but the condition of it says it’s not well maintained and will eventually become dangerous. That aside, it’s got loads of character, ideal for a bit of grungy pp and the greenery will enhance the whole. Well spotted. Just needs a beefy bloke or slinky lady mid-descent!

I like images that draw me in and invite my imagination to roam. In this juxtaposition of sand and wood I could imagine a confrontation between the "scoop"-shaped stairs and the dune sand before they both succumb to the elements.

The cut off right troubles me just a little bit otherwise I like the shot. It does what I like a photo to do--remind me of something. I know I have never been to those stairs but I have seen many just like them, in various states of disrepair, covered in sand with tracks leading to and away from them. Thanks for the memories.
