Attach a picture of your choice if you like.
I know I would have trouble selecting just 1 above another;
but sometimes tough decisions just have to be made.
The first thing to pop up in my head was a '57 T-Bird.
Since you asked, Mercedes 300 Gullwing.

A very pristine two-tone , red and white 1955 Buick Century would please my desire extremely well.
I learned to drive in a ‘55 Buick Super, unfortunately a four-door. At the time, I felt it was pretty ugly, but seeing Jay Leno’s ‘55 Buick, I would now like to have one!

I owned a ‘59 Skyliner in college in 1965. At that point it was a rust bucket, but a fully restored one would be nice!
The car of my dreams would be a 1964 Shelby Cobra. I wish I had kept some of the cars I have owned in the past. Like my 1955 Chevy, 1959 Porsche 356, and 1966 Plymouth Barracuda All of these cars are now worth about 30-40 times what I sold them for.
For me, the original Jaguar XKE roadster, or 427 Shelby Cobra, or 67' Corvette 427 Stingray, or the Ford GT 40, not necessarily in this order, I would be happy with any of them.
My choice is the 57 Chevy Bel Air 4 door HT that I own. It's black over yellow and down for repair right now.
My Dad had one very similar in 57. I'll post pics soon.

If I had to chose ONLY 1 car, it would be the original '54 Corvette. I had a 1/8th scale model of it when I was about 7 years old and always dreamed of owning one.
The original Corvette was introduced in 1953... Only came in White. Six cyl with three carbs. My favorite also

The prices are high, but a beauty.
Recently my wife and I visited the Papplewick Pumping station near Nottingham, England. When we arrived, we found about 20 old Bugatti's there (they were touring the area for the day). This one is my favorite.
If I could have only one car, I'd want something along the lines of a F-150. A few years old so I wouldn't mind a scratch or dent. Lots of the classics mentioned above would be much better for cruising and playing boy racer, but, back in real life, they wouldn't be much good for a trip to Home Depot...

I've always been a Chevy man and there are lots of great Chevy's to choose from . . .
I had a '64 Chevy Impala back in the day. I had to rebuild the engine AND transmission at less than 50K miles. I also had a '55 Chevrolet and a '62 Chevy II Nova which I wasn't all that crazy about. Didn't care much for Chevys after my experience with those cars.
