Lovely flower cluster. I forget the name, but there is a chemical you add to the soil of a Hydrangea to turn the blooms blue.

Hydrangeas require acid soil to bloom in their darker colors. If too alkaline the blooms will be an unattractive off white. Many folks use epsom salt. The darker the shades the lower the soil ph should be. Being married to the mad gardener has taught me this. Her credit, not mine.
