A few months back some one posted a composition of Gene and Benny playing Sing Sing Sing. It was about 4 or 5 months ago. It was the best I've ever heard. Was wondering if he could email me a copy or re-post it.
I believe it was clips synced together to form the entire song.

Thank you
John

Go into YouTube and put Sing Sing Sing into the search box and you will get lots of options, including the original piece.

Wow zeros—the famous drum battle between Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich is there, too—thank you!

There are hundreds of videos of Gene and/or Buddy on uTube but the one I specifically want is the one this person put together personally. I believe it was posted around Jan 2019.
Thanks

The 1938 version of this song played at Carnegie Hall is my favorite. Here's a link, but it is best to listen to it with your eyes closed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUbgwADLFPM

This is the best and most complete version I have found. It is about 13 minutes. Others are 8 minutes and 5 minutes. I think yo will like this.

Sorry all. These were all great indeed, but the one I was looking for was pieced together videos from an individual on this site about 4 months ago. It was only one song "Sing Sing Sing" . I'm just praying he hops back on and recognizes this.

I still have the original on LP Record album called the synphonism of Swing. Great album with all the greats of the 40s!

it was said that goodman became upset with krupa because his drumming was over powering the rest of the stars....i wondered why louis prima, who wrote sing sing sing wasn't included in the that carnegie hall special...
