Flowers, sunsets, birds--all reveal nature. Walking along the beach, I saw this rock that reveals not only nature, but time and my place in it. It is also quite beautiful to me, for its subtle color and varied textures.

A simple composition, to be sure, but it makes you wonder what forces were at play to created those textures.

I like the flow of the graphics and the monochromatic palette. Would make or parts of it would make an interesting abstract, which I suspect you enjoy Bob. Thanks for showing the simplest of elements can be a piece of art. Bev

Thank you all. The textures were a gift of the eons, and what attracted me. The rock seems to have been eroded by time, to contain sedimentary flows from millions of years ago, fossils, same, and mysterious event straight line. I've already used it in an artwork I'm working on, as part of an enlightenment flow--or something.😊
