Could you get that rear seat cover on a "square" Bird? (64-66 Thunderbird) Seems those were offered on the "bullet" Birds (60-62). My guess for #4 is 57 Thunderbird also.

I think you're right. I saw the same model in 1964 when I worked at Dodger Stadium. Bo Belinsky's fiancee Mamie Van Doren had one. Mamie used to drop him off at the stadium (At the time the Dodgers and the Angels shared it.) in her pink T-Bird convertible. It didn't dawn on me at the time that it wasn't a brand new one. Now I remember, the '64 had a squared-off rear end and introduced sequential rear turn signals.

Also re-thinking #6. I no longer believe it to be a Studebaker Lark. I think it's a Citroen DS...somewhere in the 1960-1975 range. They didn't change much, but I think the rooftop mounted turn signal was on the ones from that range of years.

You are correct about #6. Citroen DS. The main character on the TV show ‘The Mentalist’ used to drive one.

Interesting photographic concept - from what distinctive part can you identify the whole.

You need an audience of a certain age / inclination for it to really work

Might try it with my other interest - motorcycles - unless you have patented the idea!
