Great use of a long lens to do close-up photography (looked at the EXIF). Well done!

Thank you very much NikonJohn! I was using my Canon 300f4 on my Canon 5D MKIII at approximately 5’

Nice shots! My bird book says that one way you can tell it's not a humminbird is that the moth will let you get fairly close. Much easier, though, to be able to stand back a bit and not have to sneak up.
