I needed a spade (but never a club) for my first wife after almost 50 years.
On the second now, the red suits are just fine and I don't anticipate needing clubs nor spades (she's younger than I).
False. 53 years married and she's still not only my wife but is also my best friend.

Marriage is about how you train them......or get trained.
As we have both been divorced before - we don't need a spade or diamonds. One day we might even decide who's Boss.

I have been married to my best friend for thirty years or so. I have lost count because she is not only terrific but tolerates my silliness. She has a small flaw. She wont let me buy a Hasselblad. She keeps reminding me we have three children who are in college.
My father was a very wise man who pulled me aside after we got hitched. He said, "you have a choice in your life. You can always be right or always be happy. You can't have both. Pick one!" I have never been right but a happy fool since.

False! I've been happily married to my amazing wife and best friend for 34 years.
That was about year 30, but now at year 38, it's back to a couple of hearts
Not in my house. I love my bride of 38 years! ❤️
46 years of hearts and hoping for least another 30 years. This year we are taking a 6 week vacation in Austria, Slovenia and Croatia.
