We seem to have more Cardinals, (Redbirds), this year in South Central Texas, than we can ever remember having. They are truly a very beautiful bird. The males have a very beautiful song also. The last picture is one of a singing male.

donrent. Sir, no offense, at all, but I guess that there is a first time for every thing. Called them Red Birds for most of my 85 years, & Texans know them by both of these names.
There are a lot of things (+-) that I have never heard them called before, also.
