I bought a Petri FT SLR and extra lenses while in the Navy on a Med Cruise with Marines in 1970. It somehow got small holes in the primary shutter curtain so I ended up making a deal for another just like it. I still have that second one plus the extra lenses. I have used it only a couple times in the past ten years or so, but it still functions perfectly and I'm hanging on to it. Maybe I'll pass it, and my Pentax K1000SE, on to my grandsons if they develop an interest in photography.

I am am still amazed at the quality of images in a old photo album that were made with my Petri FT in the 70s. You are smart to have held on to it. I worked at a camera store when I got back from Korea and felt that newer cameras must be better- not always.

I bought this camera in 1967 while stationed overseas. What is the best way to sell this camera and a few lens that would go with it?
Thank you.

Have one. Tried to sell it. Best price was less than shipping. Kept it. Fond memories of my photojournalist days...

Thank you for the comment. Since I bought a Pentax K1000 and used it along with the Petri, I consider them equals in their function and photo quality. I also appreciate the lens quality and mount similarities of both. The only difference, I have never found any zoom lenses for the Petri. However with what I have I can go from macro using extension tubes plus from 35mm to 800mm with my lenses and 2X teleconverter.
