Early bird, hawk that is.
I was fortunate to be able to get these shots of the first fledgling as he made a kill and figured out some limbs weren't hawk friendly. It was a joy and comical at the same time to see it alight on small pine limbs and flounder around ending up hanging by one claw amidst the pine cones and needles with a bewildered look on its face. It now has a favorite perch on a solid pine limb with no cones and needles to aggravate. I feel privileged to post these photos for your enjoyment. Thanks for looking.

Nice shots. Your previous nest shots got me motivated to find that Red Tail nest that I mentioned. I got some fun shots. Fledging can be comical if they don't kill themselves! Gary
