Nice shot. It looks like WV Route 64 west bound about an hour before Beckley. I love these mountain cut through sites, hard to imagine how much work it took to remove that much mountain.
Being a geologist that did field work in Appalachia I love those big road cuts in coal country, there is a lot of geology exposed in them. I see number of coal beds in the photo. I would love to take climb.

A very nice photo that reminds me of the highway past Harrisburg, Pa. As a child, I loved to climb around cuts like that looking for fossils.
Don't you know that's dangerous??? Of course, I have been known to take cell phone videos while driving...beautiful scene.
