Hardly a "perfect" photograph, I like this for its "feel." Does it work for others here?
The best I can say is 'interesting. Not my cup of tea I guess but I don't know why.

Got it. Always amazing, why we like or don’t like....certain flavors, photos, types of houses.......
I like the night, the feeling of the depths of space, and the pushing of the composition envelope.

Hi Bob, I'm wondering what the "feel" is. That tree bisects your frame and really makes me pay attention to it or to the celestial orbs. When I view your photos sometimes they elude me; but I always give them a second and third look just to find out what I missed.

Of course I'm not always sure why I like something. It later turns out that sometimes I was a genius, other times a boob. The ideas/feelings I think attracted me were: soaring, immensity, worlds (physical and mental) beyond the now.
Also, I like to push the principles of composition, "learn the rules, so you know when to break them." I was hoping the bisection, a huge no-no, would be weakened as the eye is forced to look up and out.
I alway appreciate your strong appreciations and questions.

I guess I'm still learning the rules. So I try not to break them. Maybe it is time for me to move on and do some experimenting. That is why it is so much fun to see your work. Thanks for posting.
