Abandoned picnic shelters

I've been fascinated by this view which we frequently pass on our way to Pittsburgh - it is an abandoned private lake which is fenced in with an iron gate at the entrance. I was hoping to get a shot through the fence only to find that there was a steep bank angled down in front of it which made me shoot from over the top. There isn't a good place to park next to the road so my long-suffering and much appreciated husband dropped me off and came back a few minutes later.

It hasn't been used in many years - it was probably a very nice place to picnic back in the day.

At first blush, it reminded me of something from "In the land of Giants" (The "small" barn versus the "giant" gazebos.)

The electric wires - yes, but the fence is a reminder of why I couldn't get closer.
