Price being no object, and it always is, does anyone have experience with the Leica M10? Compared to the Fuji XT-3? Or is it just priced out of the universe? I've heard good things but haven't gotten my hands on one yet.
Consider the Sony A7 II.
It is the camera deal of the year! 2 years in a row. For under a Grand, you get a Full Frame Mirrorless Camera and 24-70mm lens.
I love my Olympus M5- II with its 5 axis in-body stabilization, wide lens selection, quality of images and weather and dust sealing. I can wear it all day with an equivalent of a 28-300 lens with no aches or pains. You’re going to get a lot of opinions on this!
Thanks- I will put those on my list to check out!
For travel the omd em10 mkii has been great for me for a few years as a travel camera. Lightweight, small profile, image stabilization. When paired with the 12-150 it covers most of what I shoot when I travel.

I am considering adding a Mirrorless Camera for its weight and Video advantages when I travel . I currently have a D750 and a D500 but I find them to large for just travel shots and Video. I was leaning toward the Fujifilm xt3. I have heard good things about it plus it has a good lens line up, at whats seems a fair price for the body and a kit lens of around $1300. I know Sony is a leader in the mirrorless field. I am looking for thoughts and recommendations.
Not sure if you have a budget for this or not. The Fuji XT3 will run you about $1700, right now on sale, with the 18-55 kit lens. I love mine. Fuji glass is excellent. Other brands will be lighter and smaller, such as offerings from Panasonic, Olympus, and Sony but just remember, you will be amassing a new “system” which could be expensive. Slightly larger will be the Nikon Z6, which may be viewed as impacting your intended portability for travel, but uses your existing Nikon lenses with the FTZ adaptor. If you have access to a local camera shop, why not handle all, checking the physical characteristics, to see what you would want your travel camera to be, then make your decision, as only you know what will be best for you.

If you are considering all camera brands, Consider the Canon EOS RP. I used the Canon 5D III and 5D IV for years. When Canon came out with the EOS RP I bought one to replace my 5D III. I loved it so much I bought another to replace my 5D IV. I use them on a professional level. The image quality is excellent and video is easier to use than the 5D IV and IMO, better.
Sony did have problems with overheating but they have solved that a while ago. If you are doing 4k for a long time the camera will get warm. But the initial problems appear to have been fixed.

It is a great deal. But the lens offered is not the zeiss 24 70mm which is more then a grand
it is the 28 70mm which is a mediocre kind of kit lens. Still a great deal.

Panasonic G9, about 100 lens available!
I faced the same decision last year and ended up selling my D500 and all of my lens. I went with the Fuji
X-T3 and have not looked back. I am now learning to shoot with primes more than telephoto. I fell in love with the external controls and easy learning curve. The jpegs are as advertised although I do shoot raw. I would suggest going to a local camera store and handle each of the cameras you are interested in before purchasing. Lensrental.com is a great option to try a camera before purchasing if you don’t have a local camera store.

I had not even considered Olympus. The one concern I had about the XT-3 was that there was no in body stabilization but since I did not believe I would be shooting with many long lenses I did not think it would a issue. I will take a look at the Olympus
I went through the same process a couple of years ago. I am 70 and hand steadiness is an issue. I settled on the Om I - II and could not be more pleased. I don't print larger than 12x19 so the 20 MPG sensor is no issue. I use the Olympus 12-100 Pro and the Pen L 1-- -400 lens. The Olympus lens is a gem as is the Pen L.
Came from years in the Nikon system. Hope this helps.,

You said X-T3 in your post which with the kit lens at B&H is $1699, don't know if you meant the x-t30 which with the kit lens is $1299. You might consider the older X-T20 with kit lens for $899. Thinking of going that route myself.
I gave up my D750 for XT2 and love it. Made photography fun again.

I also have a D500, and I have a D7200, but the Panasonic LUMIX G9 has become my go to camera. Besides the size and weight savings, I love the ergonomics. It really is a joy to shoot with.
Mine too after 50 years with Nikon!!
