I think its a good thing, keeps everyone honest. No one is above the law. Remember the police are our public servants. More people need to stand up and start doing it. We need to be held accountable as well as the police.

My comments and ridicule refer to her standing where she could get shot, and inflaming the situation to increase the danger to herself and the violent criminal who was being detained. See, eg., where the perp, distracted by the moron, makes arm movements that could mirror a gun being drawn (see 34 second mark onward). Astonishing calm by the cop at the end, trying to calm down the hysterical moron.
Note to moron: A violent criminal's statement that he isn't armed, DOES NOT mean he isn't armed.

BTW, that "poor little boy" was a thug with a lengthy record. The videotaped incident happened when police responded to several 911 calls. The thug was shoplifting, then assaulted a clerk followed by heaving a garbage can at the clerk.
