Whatever you had to pay those people to be in the pic at that exquisite moment of light...was well worth the price Absolutely breathtaking photo, Paul.

That's one of the best shots of Delicate Arch that I've ever seen. Nice work as usual!

Congratulations on a wonderful photograph. The people in the scene add to the size of the arch. Well done.

Thank you Linda, Richard, cameraf4, Jaymatt, William, Mr B, Dennis, Water Falls, GreyOwl40! My images are typically of things with no people or people, and almost on one hand would be the images of things that include people. I remember being seated in a bank of maybe 20 photographers on kind of a lip of a bowl overlooking the arch for the sunset. There were people yelling for the "tourist" tourists to move more quickly out of the frame. I liked the position of this pair in the numerous images I brought home from this evening. Glad you enjoyed

Thank you Pat! The first time I was to the park, it was a single day around Labor day and 100F in the afternoon. I did the trail that gave only the distant views, even scrambling over rocks to get as close as possible, but still not anything like the trail directly the arch. The next time in the area was for multiple days in mid December. In the sun it was probably in the 30s, but quickly got colder after the sun when down, getting dark quickly. Everywhere on the trail the sun couldn't reach, it was a sheet of ice. The adventure was well worth the adventure.

I agree, best shot ever of Delicate Arch. I was up there a couple years ago - but the light wasn't this good.

Excellent, Rowedean
