I like the red standing out on the monotone BW.

I suggest [me being a croppahalic], crop tighter to the person and guitar. Perhaps below his Rt knee, if it exists and fill a small light area if it results. Bring in Rt side of the photo putting him at the 1/3 area and giving an area on left of the photo giving space for him to look.

The pose immediately makes me wonder if he is an amputee or just leaning against his right leg against the wall. I see amputees daily, so maybe that is just me...

Is this what you mean? I guess I had it originally to also show the red and white cigarette package on the ground on the right.

Yes, a man alone with his guitar looking to the void of space. He is clearly out of the Johnny Be Good era, times have changed and he is there alone. He realizes that no one even remembers his good ol days. He is the story of many a man

He’s just leaning his leg against the wall.

Nice description! He does look a bit forlorn. This man is my neighbor, and if I’m not mistaken he has gang tattoos. The only time he ever alluded to it is when, after learning I was an Army veteran, he said he was a soldier of the street.

AND his name is “Johnny.”
