I truly wish your son well as he starts his university education. As a retired professor of chemistry, here is some advice based on my 32 years in higher education. Med school admissions people look at many grades when deciding who gets admitted. Four courses (among many) he must do his best in are General Chemistry I and II AND Organic Chemistry I and II. He must not let these courses get ahead of him.
