An East bound BNSF at the Belen Junction arriving at the Belen NM yard. There were five more eastbound freight trains waiting West of the yard for their turn to enter. It was a busy day in Belen, as it usually is.

I thought it interesting that the image almost has a 3D look to it. Not sure why, no special PS edits were done to the original.

Those locos look clean.....much better then the Union Pacific....a train came through today, and the lead loco sounded so bad (like a sledge hammer was beating the side), and the horns were so out of tune...I almost wanted to call it in. Excellent photo by the way!

Well captured.
Noticed the matching colored containers. After zooming in, those are Schneider containers....First time to see that.

Pat, I thought the container color match with the locomotives was an interesting, but of course, completely unplanned touch. Another example of, 'you just never know' when an interesting photo opportunity will present itself. Have the camera handy!
