Challenge: Have A "Go" at This June 3-7, 2019

Years ago we had a challenge I never forgot (I think Creativ Simon hosted). Host posted an image and participants "worked" the photo in various ways. This challenge is similar. I am posting 2 "starter" images. They are downloadable and the challenge would be to "have a go" at processing the image. Pick one - or both if you are ambitious. Some are ones I considered throwing away, some have yet to be worked. Remember: 1) there is no right or wrong way 2) comments are optional 3) if you have one you'd like to see worked by others, say so and post it. AND ABOVE ALL - have fun. Opening choices are A lighthouse scene and a lonely dandelion clinging to a rock. Looking forward to your creativity.

I just used PS Express on my iPad and played with some filters and sliders. I like the sky but the land structure needs to be lighter. I didn’t try for any effect like hd but wanted a better composition and improved sky.

Here is a shot at it. I used Gigapixel to provide more detail in the image and convert to RAW, and then used Topaz Studio. Finally I added a buoy with a bird on it (from Dingle Bay in Ireland) using Topaz ReMask 5. Thank for the opportunity to have some processing fun.

Is this what your looking for Pat. Trying to keep as much as original as possible. Recropped for composition, deleted some items from left and under lighthouse. Than upped contrast and hue's. Added structure on top of existing structure. This is something new for me so not sure what you are seeking. Bob

Not looking for anything in particular, and no, doesn't have to be kept original. It is edit practice and "seeing" things in the image of another. Everyone edits differently and that fascinates me how one can use the same image and there be so many "takes" on it. I wondered if anyone would notice items under the light house (solar panels) - And you did, Bob.
