I agree JR. Over the years, I've ridden mountain bikes, driven my own (rental) car, and taken a hired guide around the park. On one level you're always seeing the same stuff, but every time is different too and want to go back again.

Whenever I see a beautiful photo such as this I am reminded of Michener's book, Centennial, where he begins by describing the mountains rising, being eroded by the inrush of seas, the ebbing of seas and the mountains emerging, with this cycle repeating. I envision that that land was once awash in a sea that formed the buttes and with the tops of buttes peeking above the waves. Eventually the waters subsided leaving us the beautiful artistry of Mother Nature. (If I'm wrong, don't tell me unless yours is better.)
