Until I started taking photos of birds last fall I never really paid attention to how beautiful these birds truly are in the bright sunshine. That is also true of a lot of the birds I now take the time to actually look out for, boy did I waste so many years not taking the time to look around me.

I agree! I despair of getting good shots of BIF, but it’s so much fun to enjoy just looking! Great capture!
