Ahhh, so many fun hobbies, so little time. Of course I do have a lot more time since I quit chasing women. Was not sure why, but the wife insisted.
When I live in Bronx I remember getting on the subway to go to Brooklyn to a model train store. Store was call World of Trains ( I think it was name that). Inside this store it was unbelievable, Model trains in all size with unbelievable prices. If this store is still open and one is in New York City and one like model trains in any way get on the subway and visit this store.
Right on!
Also...
Photography
Music
Knitting, crochet
Quilting
Sewing
Cars. All cars, trucks, bikes etc.

Yeah, wives can be fussy about our hobbies.
I have an N gauge layout that I will never finish. When my first grandson was a toddler he asked me when I would be finishing my layout. He will 21 next birthday. Great hobby that just keeps getting better. Combine that with photography and my upcoming retirement and things are looking great.
Yes. That sums up the addiction. Model railroads is one of mine too besides photography.
I actually like that the IRS considers my photography as well as my Santa Claus work to be hobbies more or less.
Although I have been considering forming a LLC for both endeavors for the tax deduction for equipment.
Might as well get a write off for a GAS attack for either one especially since almost all the income from either one goes right back in as expenses at this point.
Sooo true, whats old is "new" again. Not much new under the sun, as someone famos said a while back...
