This little guy comes running to see me when I am on my patio if he is in the area. He is not too bright but I think that it's because he was born this year. He even burys raw peanuts unless I shell them for him.

Maybe he is smarter than you give him credit for - burying the raw peanuts in hopes of growing a peanut plant!
