These little guys are about 1/4 inch long. Didn't like the background so I changed it a little.

I pushed the download twice so that it would be really magnified. At that level you can see that the bug on the left is not perfectly sharp. The one on the right is amazingly sharp. Really good detail. Of course magnifying to that level is not how this photo was intended to be viewed. At regular download level the flower and the bugs are crisp and highly detailed. I also love the oof background. You did a nice job of isolating your subject. Very nice work.

Pleasing colors and I like the position of the flower and stem very much.
A fascinating view, with action captured: the feet of the bug on the left are in perfect focus, as is the bug on the right; therefore the bug on the left is buzzing, either working or just #$%# happy to have found a treasure!
Erich, Thanks for the comments. I was able to get either one of the bugs in focus but never both.
Thanks Linda, I had never treated a closeup as something to PP. Always tried only for subject quality this was kind of fun.
Thanks for the comments Bob. Outdoor shooting season is coming to an end for a month or so until monsoons arrive. Traditionally June is the hottest month with temps in the mid 100s.
