This was shot at junkyard (auto recycler). There is virtually no part of a car that they will not sell and reuse. FYC

For me, a closer view or different composition would have more impact. There's so much "stuff" around the edges of the frame that is partially cut off. Love your title; it adds to the experience

I agree. I was hoping to be able to get permission to get into the lot and get up close and personal. But I was denied.

Linda I actually did some cropping of the orginal shot. I do have one shot of a small section of another wall with more mirrors. I guess I just like that there were so many in one spot. There definitely is room for a larger cropping. I was more concerned with going for the grunge look in the shot. The side mirrors on the wall were actually pretty clean.

I'm not sure I can tell "grunge" unless looking really closely (zoom in on download), but I did see another reason to crop: several of the mirrors have reflections!

You might try something I've seen in a couple of series: post the wide view first, then another 2 or 3 shots, getting closer and closer each time. Just a suggestion to help keep you out of the wife's hair

Talk about reflections, Attached is the orginal SOOC color shot. If you look at the bottom mirror close to the wheel you will see my sneakers

An Anthropologist friend saw the BW photo and said it is proof that there was an advanced civilization that existed before the catastrophe that occurred 13000 years ago.

Have you ever replaced a rear view mirror? New they can cost in the hundreds of dollars.

As a matter of fact, they is why I was there. I ordered a part on Amazon and when it came the electrical connector was wrong. My wife Toyota Rav 4 was built in Japan the one they sent me was built in North America. So I went there to try my luck, sixty dollars. Normally I would take it to an auto body friend of mine. But my wife wasn’t looking to tie up her car for a day. My other friend YouTube showed me how to do the replacement.

Frank, an interesting and almost textural photo.

Thanks Bob. As you can see from the orginal shot I added the "grunge" look. The yard had them all hanging like a trophy head. They actually were pretty clean. That was not the look I was going for.

Very rich photo to mine. I think the color original provides the most fun and potential ways of looking at it.
