The very gentle slopes of the land in #1, with grazing cattle, makes that one my favorite. Also, with its tiny farm pond for reflecting the sky it's a scene less often captured perhaps than piers and ocean waves.

Great capture of the pier. The waves and reflection are wonderful. The detail in the pier railing is nice and sharp. Excellent job.

I live near the ocean; but I prefer the first shot. Like Linda mentioned, having that reflected light in the pond is a big plus. The other idea is that this is not just about the sky. We have a landscape and critters in that landscape to consider as well as the spectacular sky.
