instead of printing photo on my canon all in one I'm going to buy a dedicated photo printer, but can anyone tell me the difference between a canon pro 100 vs canon pro 100s and the easiest one to set up I will be using WIFI a lot, thanx

Why not use COSTCO. They us Fuji Crystal paper. Upload from your computer and you can match their monitor profile.

Canon's new PIXMA Pro-100S dye-based inkjet printer. (Source: Canon.) The new printer uses the same ChromaLife100+ dye inks as the PIXMA PRO-100 (and its predecessor, the Pro9000 Mark II). ... If you already have a PIXMA PRO-100 printer, the only reason to upgrade to the new model is for its Wi-Fi capabilities.

if the same price go for th "s". I really gave up on wireless. I don't like to fool with the wireless connection process, finding the router, telling all my devices I have the printer. I know, no really that hard. I stay with USB. personal choice.

Wired ethernet connection into a switch, even better, easier to share to all your devices and no wireless hiccups.

I have a Pro-100, prob would go for the newer version depending on price if I bought it today instead of earlier just because of possible improvements. I use wifi connection because my printer is in another room - small house. Occasionally I have to "find" it on my wifi but otherwise it works great.

I have the cheaper Canon ip87xx series (actual number varies by country) attached to a Mac. While it supports a wifi connection, it uses a different printer driver for that connection which is not as comprehensive as the USB connection. It cannot use ICC profiles for example. I'm not sure if this applies to the Pro series, but I would certainly check before planning to put the printer on the other side of the room.
