You've got some imaginative shots; very good. Pay more attention to backgrounds; many of the comments dealt with that. Keep shooting, you'll be fine.
The last two are my favorites.

is there some significant factor in the barbed wire fence and an engagement? Gotta watch the backgrounds. Needs some cropping.
Really need to get the ring involved in the photo. Otherwise it's just a photo of 2 friends.
Overall, I would say use a much wider aperture to subdue the background so there is more focus/attention on the subjects. Also, these kinds of pictures could benefit from a little bit of softness - try a slight reduction of clarity to add just a tiny bit of glow. Specifically, clone out the barbed wire in #1 and crop a bit to move the couple a bit more center, crop #2 and #4 a bit tighter.

Thank you for the comment but that is just crazy talk about the barbed wire and the road..smh.
The bridge is what they wanted to do it was on private property and no one was harmed..lol
I would crop tighter but then an instructor of mine told me I crop too tightly. I would pose her on his left so when she turns towards him, her left hand with the ring is forward towards the photographer. It doesn't have to be blaringly obvious as if she is giving the viewer the finger but it can be displayed naturally. If the backgrounds and settings are of the couples choosing, they are the ones that have to live with it, not me. Good to see the fence post was not growing from either of them. You could even experiment with different points of view from very low to up on a step ladder.
I LIKE THE ONE AT FENCE! MAYBE TAKE A LITTLE OF THE SKY OFF. BUT I REALLY LIKE IT..

You have been getting some helpful comments. Several people, myself included, think that the barbed wire is inappropriate background for the shot you took. It's not that the shot isn't nice … it's that it probably would improve w/o the barbed wire (and maybe some cropping). I sent you a PM (Private Message).
I received your private message and I could tell it had been edited right away which is why I chose not to edit it out. My problem with your comment is not your criticism of the picture but what that you said it represents a "thorny relationship" that party is crazy.
I am not sure there is a ring involved...in the one picture where you can see her left hand it does not look like she has a ring on...but if she did, or if you do engagement photos in the future i would most definitely focus on the ring in a few of the shots...Overall i think you did a nice job...

I think your images are fine. The lovely couple is your primary subject, my feeling is a little tighter
focus or PP Cropping if you do PP. Otherwise nice and congrats to the couple.

The issue with 3 of 4 of them is that the backgrounds are fighting the subjects for the viewer's attention. So, a little more of them and a little less of the background would help a lot.

I agree 100%. #3 does include less of the background than 1 & 2; however, it is still too busy.
