Ever have a bad shoot?

At F4, potential issue with DOF. Try similar shot using aperture priorty set at F8 or F11, then compare results. Let us know results.

I would but I probably won’t be back at the same place with the same setup but will for sure try the setting in a similar situation.

Look like camera shake nothing is in focus next time use manual focus and don't have your subject so far apart use a faster s speed use a flash and bounce it off the celling .

I didn’t have any control over where the couple was or where my seat was, wish I had. I’m pretty sure after several above reply’s that I’d just switched from Auto to P and just didn’t hit either of my back buttons to focus. Stupid mistake and I was pretty tired by the time I did this.

Was it possible the focusing system had the face or eye priority feature ‘On.’ Thats the feature that creates a little green square around the system selected heads.

He's in focus, she's moving, the door, the lines in the wall, the cupcakes, etc. are all in focus. Looks to me that her moving not the camera or lens is the problem.
