Where they make the world's most expensive watches. And I used to think that Patek Philippe were the most expensive at $250,000.

As a mechanical watch collector I really appreciated that!

Wow. $1.2 million for a wrist watch? Since they are mechanical, I guess not having to replace a battery every year makes it a bargain. 😊

Well worth watching - no pun intended, however. ~FiddleMaker

After having worked for Simplex Time Recorder for a number of years, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the link you sent. Thank you so much.

I kinda agree but being able to "waste" $1.2 million on a watch is the whole point. Same as buying a multi-million dollar mega-yacht or a 15 minute ride on Branson's space plane for $250,000. The one-percenters who buy these items are so far removed from reality it doesn't seem frivolous to them. Maddening to think how many battered women's safe houses, homeless Veterans shelters or inner city school improvements the price of a watch would cover.

Having worked for Timex for 10 years, I love the older style(s) of watches. Feel lost if I fail to 'put one on', before leaving the house. Really enjoyed that work, as part of the assembly and fabrication of watch parts. Cell phones tell time, but no where near as conveniently.
Really enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing!
