I finally got a good one today in a tree with leaves. Shot with Canon 80D, Canon 100-400 Mk II @ 400mm( 640mm equivalent), 1/1250 sec. F5.6 ISO 250 and hand held. Download recommended.

A gorgeous shot Dave ! ......but 400X1.6 = 640mm equivalent .....thanks for sharing !

You are 100% correct. I corrected my post. I was so excited finally getting something I thought was good enough to share on UHH I reverted to what I get with FF and 1.4 extender.
