Wondering if anyone has taken a trip to Lesedi Cultural Village, less than an hour from Johannesburg. I have two days in the city before going on safari and I see that there are day tours available to the village. I thought it would be nice to visit and get some cultural photos as well as flora and fauna shots. If you've been to the village, was it enjoyable? Your feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks, but your answer has nothing at all to do with my question.

My husband and I are going the end of June. We have a few days before safari and are planning on going to Lesedi and Cradle of Mankind. When are you going? If it is after us I’ll let you know what I think when we get back.

I'm not going till October. Hope you have a great time and I would be most grateful to hear of your experience at Lesedi.
Thanks so much Yaya.

My sister has booked a house in Joburg. I will ask for the name and let you know. We are going on a private safari with Bearded Heron Sefaris, starting in the Northern part of Kruger and working our way south. We will be staying in some of Kruger's rest camps.

Enjoy your visit. I have never had any desire to visit any African country. They are all third world and have insurgencies and you never have any guarantee that you won't be caught up in an attack. It may be beautiful but can also be dangerous.

Spent 10 days in South Africa last year . It is a great place to visit . Kruger park is really something to see . Since you are going to the North entrance of the park you should work it out to see Jessica the Hippo . Never felt unsafe . Have a great time , I can't wait till I can get back
