I no longer have any mothers in my life, but I found this interesting - from Jacquie Lawson digital greeting cards.

As you live in The States, it is today. Release the card. My mother has passed away. I do have my wife who is the mother to our children also two daughters who have children.
I never gave any thought to other countries.
