Taken from the editor of the Media Bias Chart. Many, many of the information sources in Attic posts are from unreliable and biased sources. So when a subject comes up you can now look to NeoCortix.

Hi News Nerds,

Quite a few people have asked if there are any news aggregators or apps that just serve up the best news sources from the top of the Media Bias Chart, and I'm happy to say that now there is a great one out there! We didn't make it, but we really like it. NeoCortix News is a free app and recently became available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
They describe it best on this section of their site, which explains how they choose sources based on the Media Bias Chart:

"The purpose of Neocortix News is to provide a convenient way for people to access High-Quality News, and avoid Low-Quality News. Our approach is simple: We only link to news stories from reputable, high-quality news sources. Our guide for determining high-quality news sources is the Media Bias Chart, created by Vanessa Otero at Ad Fontes Media...

We don't track your choices of stories, and we don't tailor the news that we show you based on your prior choices, so you don't get trapped in a Filter Bubble. And by avoiding the sources in the lower portion of the chart (or not on the chart at all), we help you to steer clear of inaccurate or misleading stories, unfair persuasion, propaganda, and outright false or fabricated stories.

We also allow you to de-select individual sources. This can be useful if you have reached a monthly free article limit for a particular source and don't wish to see their article headlines (although we encourage you to subscribe to your favorite sources). Usually you will find other news sources covering the same stories. To de-select a source, just go the Settings panel (first button at the top left of the screen) and uncheck the box of that source. New users of Neocortix News will notice that CNN is available but de-selected by default, because of its lower position in our acceptable range on the Media Bias Chart."

NeoCortix News was created by Lloyd Watts, the CEO of NeoCortix News. Lloyd is an experienced and successful entrepreneur who cares greatly about solving the problems in our media environment, and is on the Advisory Board of Ad Fontes Media.

One of the things I love most about this whole project, which started with the Media Bias Chart and has grown into Ad Fontes Media, is that I have had the opportunity to meet so many people who care deeply about making news consumers smarter and the news media better. I'm grateful to Lloyd and NeoCortix News for contributing in this space.

Many Russian troll farm generated memes and tales have appeared in this place ... to the predictable, flabbergasting around on the floor, outrage of the usual suspects.

So, they link to "high quality" news sources. What does that mean??? CNN, MSNBC??? If they link to main stream f**e lying media, what good would they be? CNN is the least trusted cable news, if that is a source, what is the point?

In general journalists ( I call them editorialsts ) don't care about facts, they write what they think will sell their product, or have a show that they think will sensationalize, and they don't care what the t***h is or to show both sides of an issue.

In reality most of the 'journalists' you refer to are nothing more that typists posing as a journalist.

If media bias is in the name you can rest assured that as far as they are concerned any media espousing the democrat party line is unbiased and any outlet that tells the t***h is biased.
