Like a broken record, you are the man, these are excellent as always Jules. End of the season. I just thought about that yesterday, most high school sports are winding down. I have got to look at when all playoffs start to get ready and put on my calendar. With only having the 80-200MM to shoot with it will probably change what I will shoot. I will have to think hard about what championships will be played and when. I may (can't afford it) rent the 80-400MM again for $100.00 a week and try and get in as many events as I can. We will see. Gotta go I am shooting an event for a close by city (volunteer) that I shoot 10-12 events every year for them. I love it even though it is for free. The city is great and the people of the city are the best, Shawnee Kansas.Talk later.

I Love the team (#8) pic. It is so much more than the usual canned team pic.
All of the faces are well lit with slightly backlit hair. Was a flash involved?

Hi Jules

Great shoots. I particularly like the 2nd in the tagout series (which just shows you actually need to catch the ball first!). I like the first of the pitchers in white as well.

As usual, your timing is impeccable.

@Tom

Spring HS sports winding down? We, up here in the far North, are just getting started. Only on the 2nd track meet of the spring now!

Even had snow last weekend in the mountains!

Tom use the lens you have, and concentrate on plays at second, third, and home if you can.

Yes Jimmy I used a flash for fill in, especially when shooting into the sun. The girls were fun and wanted to have a picture taken. Otherwise you have your standard shot, where the girls are standing straight and say just get it over with. Makes a big difference in the end result.
