I bought the full version - for $25, maybe a good fallback if I decide to drop Adobe. A couple of interesting points:
- In Corel's current offer, the full version costs a lot less than the upgrade. Go figure.
- When I was installing the actual Paint Shop Pro, I got to a point in the installation process where the installation controls were displayed inside a box, and the proceed button wasn't visible on screen. Pressing enter, trying the scroll wheel, drag-and-drop with the mouse, etc. wouldn't work. What finally worked to be able to click on the proceed button was Control-scroll wheel.
- Four of the products require serial numbers. You can copy and paste them into the required boxes during install. I have a document where I keep all of my software serials, and pasting into that produced nothing until I figured out that the serials in the email they sent used a white font color on a grey background. After pasting them into my document, I had to change the font color.
