Spent a couple hours yesterday walking around the city zoo pointing and shooting with a 70-200mm IS lens/camera combo without any other photographic equipment with me. The day was very enjoyable and was able to enjoy the zoo's whole collection. The only drawback is there are way more images to go through than normal.
Looking through the more than enough "keepers" this one stands out to me. Thought someone else would enjoy seeing it too.
(This will be my modus operandi more often, "IS" is all its cracked up to be!)
One of the problems of the giraffe is that its neck is too short. Strange but true.
(As all the blood rushes to his head.)
Better to have too many shots and cull than not have enough!

Seems like it, or legs too long! Odd animal in any case.
