I think posts like this generate better advice if you give some details of what you like to shoot.

Landscapes? Country Music artists? Street shots? Birds? Automobiles? etc., etc., etc.

I'm with Andy on this one. What research have you already done? We don't mind helping out but frown on having to spoon feed.

I think you will find the Crystal Palace and surrounding grounds full of opportunities, from people, to landscape, to architecture, and combinations.

There are many photo ops, but traffic is very heavy (creeping speed) around Branson.

Silver Dollar City has plenty of photo ops. People dressed in older style clothes, western gun fighters and a sheriff put on a show in the streets, there is a cave you can walk thru. There is a water ride with a bridge at the end of it you can stand on and get pics of the ride splashing thru the water, people making blown glass, a blacksmith doing his thing. There is a lot there to photograph.

Around Branson are a lot of scenic opportunities.

Long time since I was there but I found the helicopter tour to be superb value. Well it was to a Brit paying high fuel prices, just me and the Pilot in an R22 and 15 minutes.

The lakeside offers a few opportunities as did the main shopping drag after dark. Just bear in mind a lot has probably changed since 2007. Grab a show or two.

Me, I loved BASS PRO. Could have spent several days there no problem - nothing like it in the U.K. And the Dolly Parton show wasn't bad.

When in Branson "The Strip" (Highway 76) can get very busy, but you can take alternate parallel routes Blue, Red, Yellow, etc routes....maps are available everywhere (at stores and motels) to bypass the traffic. Silver Dollar City and its Marvel Cave have many photo ops. Other photo ops: Branson Belle river showboat (paddle wheel) on Table Rock Lake is a fun boat ride with a great show. Dogwood Canyon, 25 miles south of Branson is beautiful with hills, streams, trees. and waterfalls with a 2 mile hike or they will rent you bicycles plus it has a wildlife tram ride (Buffalo herd). Five miles south of Branson is Top of the Rock with self driven golf carts through scenic hills and waterfalls plus the best Native American Museum. Twenty five miles North of Branson is Springfield, MO where there is the Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Aquarium, a world class Museum and Aquarium. The Aquarium has been voted best in the US. Have fun......many photo ops! Lambert's south of Springfield ( between Branson and Springfield) is an amazing roadhouse to eat at, but avoid the "normal" eating times, as it gets extremely busy. Google these attractions for more info.
