It really is a fantastic place and your photos do it justice. I lived in California as a kid in elementary school and went to see the mission on a school trip. Nearly 60 years later, I have seen every Spanish Mission in California that is still standing and a few sites where there are no longer any standing buildings, only wells, waterworks, stone walls etc. Thanks for posting these great photographs.
Thank you CPO......................The San Juan Capistrano mission is the "mother" of all the California missions as you probably realize after visiting all of the missions.
