Today is Earth Day; April 22nd. How should Christians think about this issue?

Much of the time I'm dismayed to see how much secularism has invaded the church. It's subtle but it's there.
Most Christians would recoil at the message "All hail Satan as our savior!!" but they wouldn't give a second thought to the phrase “The fate of the living planet is the most important issue facing mankind.”
However both ideas are not what a Christian should believe. Earth day seems innocuous but it's not. The fate of the planet is NOT the most important issue facing mankind, it's deliverance from sin.
