We took the dogs out for a quick hike this afternoon, and I managed to get a few shots that might be of interest. I almost missed spotting the lizard in the second shot.

Love it, good variety of subjects, which I like.
Well done photos.
(Must be a good camera.

Just joking. on the camera.
Beautiful, Vicki! I almost missed the lizard, too! The egret in motion is a great action shot and I love the woodsey feel of the last one

I enjoyed the hike too...you saw some fun things and captured them very nicely, vicki.
the lizard certainly blends in with his surroundings...good job spotting him!
From in-your-face to camouflaged, and then contrasts within the frame itself. Wonderfully enjoyable series.

I enjoyed the egret most Vicki, lovely.
Nicely done, Vicki. I can see how you might have missed the lizard, he's well camouflaged. I like the last image the most, though.
That oak root or limb almost looked like an alligator to me on my first quick glance. Very nice on the egret.
