I'm not sure if this is the correct place for these so please let me know if it's not. Linda's challenge the other day kind of rejuvenated my creative juices again and made me go back and revisit some images I have done in the past using, either Photoshop, or my IPhone. Doing edits on my IPhone is a way of challenging myself to see what I can come up with. Some of these images were created using both programs. Maybe starting out on my phone and finishing in Photoshop or vice versa. Some of the Phone apps that I use are:
1. Snapseed. My favorite go to app on my phone.
2. Photoshop Mix: My go to app when I am going to be doing composites on my phone.
3. Distressed FX: For texture layers, effects, etc.
4. Super Impose for blending images, effects, etc.
5. Over for Text
6. Photoshop and NIK plugins.

I use several other phone apps but these are the main ones.

What wonderful eye candy! I particularly like the message from Maya Angelou + the strong graphics of the bird in hand.

And of course they are appropriate for PP Forum. Folks have been sharing their texturized, layered, composited, painted creations for a long time here. Some think it has only been since I became moderator, lol, but exploring the artistic side of processing goes back to the first weeks of this forum's existence.

Thanks very much for posting and for listing the software you used. Delighted to hear you found inspiration from another topic in PP Forum.

I think these are sophisticated images and very creative. Are you sure you are not a professional graphics designer IRL? I like these very much.

Thank you for that very kind comment. No I am not a professional nor do I play one on TV. LOL. I really like playing and creating in Photoshop. For me, an idea will pop into my mind and then my challenge is to create it in Photoshop. Recently, I have been challenging myself to create composites on my IPhone. Let's just say, it's a work in progress. Currently, the rumors are that Adobe will be bringing a full version of Photoshop to the IPAD. I'm pretty excited about that for it affords me a lot more portability away from my desktop.

I would love to have PS on my IPad! Its just a mini but still big enough to edit with. I currently have PS Mix, PS Express, and the web version of LR on it. The biggest problem I have is getting files onto the IPad.

I am quite taken with the richness of your images, revealing your restraint with so many tools at your disposal. I think Linda's mention of "eye candy" is meant this way, not in the derogatory way artists and designers use the term, i.e., as superficial, pleasing but empty. Your use of texture, color, and composition have multiple layers to appreciate. Looking forward to more; and glad you are here.

Are you using an IPhone? If you are, you can Air Drop the images from your Phone to the IPAD. My wife does this for transferring images she want's to work on.

Do you have a Dropbox Acct? Sometimes when I am working in Photoshop on my Desktop, I will upload files to my Dropbox Acct. Then when I'm on my IPhone, I can open up the Photoshop Mix app, then go select images from my Dropbox acct. This will bring an image into the app. You can then just save it to your camera roll to use in other apps. You could do the same thing using your IPad.

Thank you for translating, Bob. Yes, I was thinking of the Urban Dictionary definition: Something purely aesthetically pleasing, that is, pleasing to the senses.

In my world, eye candy is a good thing 😇

For what it's worth Linda, I took your comment exactly how you describe it above. It's appreciated very much.

I don't have an IPhone or a Dropbox account but I should probably get a the dropbox acct, not the Iphone. I can always get from LR but I have to be at home to load it there first. A dropbox would make it really portable for my Ipad. I am leaving for vacation next Saturday and I have a wireless account in my SUV. I wouldn't have to wait until I got home to upload my files. Woohoo thanks for the idea!

I know how easy it can be to mis-interpret the written word on these mustard yellow pages, but my second sentence should have removed any doubt for those who were unsure. I'm reminded of way back when critique forum was in early days, I said something like "this is a great snapshot of the moment" meaning as a compliment, not criticism. Chaos ensued

Thanks again for sharing your very enjoyable images.
