If socialized government control of healthcare is so great, why doesn’t Mick Jagger wait in that one year line to get his heart done there??

Why does he come to the US???

Perhaps we have real medicine here. It’s getting worse but still beats jaggers actual country’s healthcare system.

Once Bernie gets it in place, there’s no way he’ll use it. All the rich elite socialists will fly off to a non socialist country for medical care.

Just ask Bernie why he doesn't fly to Venezuela for his medical care.

Could it be related to being rich enough to be able to "queue jump".........poorest to the back of the queue.!

Is being selfish a virtue ?

Maybe he did it because New York City has the best Doctors, the best Hospitals and pretty much the best of everything.

Until i***ts socialize it. The rich will have to fly out to get care. No problems for them. My concern is where will the Canadians go for proper healthcare.

Using someone like Jagger as an example in any healthcare analysis is really twisted; and leads nowhere.
Poor people need preventative health care.

Stop investing in open-ended optional wars and you can have national healthcare, upgrade the nation's infrastructure, invest in education and build a wall. This used to be called common sense.

Facts are not twisted. That’s what the rich do. Lucky them. World leaders come to the US too. The Poor do have access to healthcare. Can be Better coverage than you have. It’s called Medicaid & other names and programs too in various states

The ACA is the ripoff. Horrible program. It’s just the lefties first phase to completely take over healthcare as the evil statists they are. To really F things up.

The US healthcare system became the best on the planet for a reason. Lack of socialism. It was privatized and efficient. Most costs are due to regulation by government. Oh, and R&D. Socialized medicine does not produce much in The way of significant medical advances.

So government does not belong in healthcare. Huge costs. It’s the system that drives much the costs.

OTOH,

Something Trump spotted with Air Force One. The huge costs - is because Boeing cleverly convinced the folks in DC that those 747s are a Commercial program and not Military. Now Boeing can charge wh**ever.

If Air Force One was considered Military, a completely different pricing structure and pricing audits come into play. You know - FAR.

Trump saw the high price tag and likely the game being played. Sure Air Force one is a one of a kind super duper aircraft but... a commercial program? I don’t buy that either.

But then I have not heard Boeing’s argument but do see why it’s a special classified program.

I thought thats what obamacare was for. If the US goes to single payer (medicare for all)The gov't controls who gets what kind of care. I for one do not want to put that kind of power in the hands of politicians.

Many countries have a national healthcare system that works—- the US can as well. Obamacare was an imperfect start, that badly needed revision, and time to meet needs that are apparent.
What do Republicans, or Democrats want to do now in 2019 to fix this serious problem?
Trump, says he has the answer—after the e******n.

The industry was better off without the government meddling as it always tries to do.

It was better off for those who were fortunate enough to have health insurance. Many don’t, and we all pay later in emergency rooms etc.
Preventative care BEFORE people get sick would save millions

Preventative care can be as simple as outrageous taxes on manufactured/laboratory engineered/industrial 'food' with high sodium, high sugar and high fat content.

That's because the Democrats would NEVER pass it thru the House . And Trump knows it .

Chucky and Nancy have sworn to "obstruct President Trump" wherever they can.

They know full well that if they let President Trump pass ANY significant bill , especially.... gulp... National Healthcare , they are TOAST next year (f%*k the poor )
