I went to this location last week, sad to see the nest did not last over the winter with one bird sitting on the platform. I went back this week happy to see them rebuilding the nest. Even bringing in lunch!

I used a Nikon D500 with a 150-600 Tamron G2 lens.

Bayville has several. I didn't realize you were on Long Island. There is also an area for nesting piping plovers at the Bayville beach.
