I can't resist snapping flowers where ever I find them! Most of these are garden center shots. The last close up of a strange tree is from a lakeside park. I hope you enjoy these bits of spring cheer.

The last tree appears to be a cypress, maybe a native bald cypress with fruit - cones.

Thank you! That makes sense but I didn't recognize it.😊

Thank you, Linda. As you can tell, I enjoy flowers. I am wanting to take them to the next level, though, and get more creative

Nice work! Do you take a tripod to the garden center or are you just that steady with your hands?

These are hand help but I used a high shutter speed on most if not all. The lighting was mostly good. I'm glad you enjoyed them.

I can send you some textures, if you'd like

Dixiegirl uses several ideas she got from Kathleen Clemons, including I believe, cloning your subject at low opacity for background. Here is Kathleen's site: http://kathleenclemonsphotography.com/

My problem is everything looks like fun and I can't stick with any one technique!

Affinity and Topaz both have some textures to work with and I have a few more that I made. I just need to get better at using them. I bought a couple of Kathleen Clemons videos on Creative Live. I need to go back and watch them again and I will check out her web site too. Like you, I have trouble keeping my focus. Too many things to try.
