Wonderful series, Sylvia! I have never seen an elephant "at work" before.

So pleased you enjoyed them Mike and thank you very much for your generous comment. The elephant was a long way off from the track we were on so I was happy the shot came out ok.

Following on from my first post, I am pleased to report no more punctures, temps still in the mid 40c’s. We stop in a safe area to have breakfast early in the morning.

The elephants live with their mahout and we came across this one breaking branches. They work logging in the jungle and patrol with a mahout checking for injured animals.

The baby Languar monkey only one week old, was jumping up and down making his presence felt.

Canon 650D, Tamron 18-400 lens.

Sylvia, an awesome set. The DDLs show off the sharp details and comp, etc is great. A High Five for many reasons is required.

I hate to see the elephants or any animal chained.

A marvelous variety of beautiful creatures in this series, Sylvias. Looks like you were standing next to the tiger and ready to pet him!!

What a wonderful array of shots, Sylvia. It looks like you're having the time of your life! How "safe" is the "safe" spot? The tigers are gorgeous. And what a helpful elephant.
